Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
We collect the information you provide when creating an account, including your name, email, phone number, address, date of birth, and gender. We also collect health information you choose to enter (medications, diagnoses, appointments) and wellness check-in records. For facility accounts, we collect facility name and contact details.
2. Device Features and Sensors
To help keep you safe, the app can use the following device features. Each is optional and can be enabled or disabled in Settings at any time. Motion Sensors (Accelerometer and Gyroscope): Used for fall detection. Motion data is processed locally on your device in real time and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. Microphone: Used for sound detection, which listens for sudden loud noises (such as the impact of a fall) and sustained yelling in the human voice frequency range. Audio is analyzed locally on your device for volume and frequency patterns only — no audio is ever recorded, stored, or transmitted by the app. Speech Recognition: When available on your device, the app may use your device's built-in speech recognition services to listen for distress keywords such as "help." This feature depends on your device and browser capabilities and may not be available on all platforms. Location Services: Used when you trigger an emergency alert or when a fall is detected, so your current location can be shared with your trusted contacts and emergency responders. Notifications: Used to deliver check-in reminders, medication reminders, event reminders, and emergency alerts.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate the Service: running daily check-ins, sending medication and event reminders, and delivering emergency alerts to your trusted contacts when you trigger them or miss a scheduled check-in. We may also use contact information to provide support and important account notices.
4. Sharing Your Information
We share your wellness and emergency information only with the trusted contacts you designate, and only as described in these terms. Facility administrators can view check-in and alert data for residents enrolled under their facility. We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers (such as payment processors) only as necessary to operate the Service, under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
5. Emergency Notifications
When you trigger an emergency alert or miss a check-in past the grace period, the Service sends notifications (which may include your location, medical information, and contact details) to your trusted contacts so they can assist you.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypting data in transit and restricting access to authorized personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
You may review, update, or delete the personal information in your account at any time through your account settings. You can remove trusted contacts and revoke their access at any time. To request deletion of your account, contact us through the Contact page.
8. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. Subscription and billing records are retained as required for accounting purposes.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us so we can delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
11. Contact
Questions about this Privacy Policy can be sent through our Contact page.
